F.A.Q
How far in advance should I book?
As far in advance as possible please! Whilst we will always try to help at ‘short notice’ – the more time you can give us, the greater the chance of getting that perfect paintball party exactly when and where you want it!
How can I book?
By calling 01782 450414. You will need to pay a non-refundable deposit per person to secure your places so it is a good idea to collect this money from your group in advance.
How can I pay my deposit?
We accept credit and debit card, cheque or cash. We do accept cheques but you would need to call us on 01782 450414 to arrange your payment.
I’m not sure how many players I have, but I want to book now so that I don’t miss out on the date I want. What should I do?
You can make your booking now for the players that you have confirmed. You can then add additional players onto your booking up until a few days before your event.
General Points
What happens on the day?
On arrival, you will be greeted by our friendly staff who will check you in. After you have filled out registration forms you will be kitted up with all the gear and have a safety briefing. Then the action starts! You will play 10 -12 games during a full day session, with short breaks in between to reload your paintballs and discuss tactics!
What do I need to bring on the day?
Players should wear old, comfortable clothing and may also want to bring a change of clothes. The most suitable footwear would be a light boot, but old trainers are most commonly worn. Also a hat and gloves are also advisable. You may also want to bring some money for purchasing additional paintballs (we accept cash and credit/debit cards verified by PIN only).
What is the minimum age?
The minimum age to play at Force10 Paintball Stoke on Trent is 12 years old.
Do I need to fill out a registration form?
All players are required to complete a registration form before they begin play. Players under 16 years must have their form signed by an adult; we suggest you send these out with your invitations. The other parents should return their completed registration forms for you to bring with you to the paintball centre on the day of your event.
Adult players can complete registration forms on arrival at the paintball centre, but we suggest you can complete them in advance to speed up your check in time.
How many paintballs will I need?
There is no way of knowing how many paintballs any individual will use, as it depends on how trigger-happy you are. But to give you some sort of idea people on a full day’s play use between 400 and 700 paintballs. It is entirely up to each person how much they want to spend. You can purchase paintballs at the centre throughout the day, during the breaks between games.
How many players do I need to bring?
There is no minimum or maximum requirement; any numbers are fine (although we may require a minimum of 10 players if no other groups are booked in). You will be joined with other players on the day to make up a team.
Can I play just with my own group?
You would need to have enough players to fill your own game zone, normally about 20 or more.
Will my child be playing with adults?
We will try to join your group up with a similar age group, where possible. However, there are often groups of mixed ages (when parents like to play with their children, or there are also older siblings joining in etc).
What happens if I arrive late?
Please endeavor to let us know if you are running late and the site will do their best to accommodate you. There is no guarantee that you will be able to play if you are extremely late.
What happens if it rains?
The games go ahead regardless, in all weather conditions. All the game zones are outdoors, but there are sheltered areas in the base camp where you can go between games.
What times can we play?
A full day session is 9.00am until approximately 4.00 – 4:30pm. A half day session in the AM will start at 9.00am and finish at 1.00pm and the PM session will begin at 12.30pm and finish at 4.00 – 4.30pm.
What happens if a player does not turn up on the day and I have already paid for them?
All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Can I use the paintballs if a player does not turn up on the day and I have already paid for them?
Unfortunately not if anyone fails to attend the event on the date you have booked, the prepayment and paintballs for that person will be forfeited. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Equipment
Can I bring my own equipment?
Players must use the paintballs and paintball markers provided on the day by the site. We do although allow use of un-modified Goggles and camouflage clothing if they are adequate.
Can I bring my own paintballs?
No I’m afraid not. You can only use paintballs issued by Force10 Paintball on the day of your event.
Would I need to pay for anything extra on the day?
Yes possibly, if you require additional paintballs or if you would like chocolate or a can of pop.
What does lunch include?
A Jacket Potato and a choice of fillings, Baked Beans and cheese.
Can I bring alcohol?
No!. No-one is allowed to play under the influence of alcohol.
I’m just booking for a morning or afternoon, will I get lunch?
No, but lunch can be arranged at the time of booking. The costs per head would be £5.00 and would have to be paid at the time of booking. You are welcome to bring snacks to eat between the games and we also sell chocolate bars and cans of pop.
Are showers available?
No sorry we have no showers on site.
